Cara (Carl) was born and raised in Southeastern Texas. He started working in the animal medical field when they were only 16, where they worked as a kennel technician. Over time, they worked his way up through the hierarchy of clinics and became a veterinary technician. He graduated from Texas A&M University in December of 2015 (whoop!) with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. They have embraced their love for animals and have been helping as many of them as he can, even in a different state. They not only worked at clinics but also assisted with low cost spay/neuter clinics and TNR (trap neuter release) programs throughout Texas. Since moving to New Hampshire in January of 2019, he has expanded his knowledge in the veterinary field. They worked at a surgical hospital for over two years and found that general practice is where their passion lies. He is happy to find themselves back at ORVH where he remembers many friends (humans and animals) that they have missed. Outside of the clinic, you can find them enjoying the ever-changing NH weather with his friends, listening to music (mostly K-pop), crocheting, and cuddling with their fur babies: Agust D, Tigger, Merlin, and Zeref.
